A Family Journey to Entrepreneurship
Chas and LaVondra Coleman’s path to MooYah began with years of entrepreneurial ventures in floral design, real estate, and franchising—always guided by their passion for family, community, and South Louisiana hospitality. Inspired by their son’s love of MooYah and their own belief in food as a way of welcoming people, they purchased their first Baton Rouge location and later expanded to a second.

A Modern and Welcoming New Space
With their second Baton Rouge location, the Colemans envisioned a sleek, updated design that reflects MooYah’s fun, family-centered culture. Partnering with Grand Construction, they achieved a clean, modern layout with bold colors, booth seating, and a fresh aesthetic that resonates with both young guests and families alike.

Client Story
A Family-Driven Journey to MooYah
Chas and LaVondra Coleman’s journey to entrepreneurship began with a shared desire to create meaningful, family-focused businesses. From floral design to real estate and franchising, they built experience and confidence along the way, always guided by creativity, hard work, and a commitment to community. Their passion for South Louisiana culture and hospitality led them to purchase the existing MooYah in Baton Rouge, and they’ve since expanded to a second location, bringing modern design, welcoming service, and a family-centered approach to every guest experience.”
