Heat Exchanger, LLC specializes in the fabrication,
repair, and service of shell and tube heat
exchangers, coolers, and condensers in the refining,
chemical, power generation, and marine industries.
With a need for a new production facility and office
space, EST invited design/build proposals for
construction at their existing location in Baton
Rouge. Grand Construction Company, in concert with
our design team professionals, won the project and
began the formal design process in early May 2006.
Construction began four weeks later on an 11,000
square foot pre-engineered steel building, including
a 1,600 square foot office and administrative
section. Other features of the building
construction include a deep-foundation system, an
overhead bridge crane and runway electrification
system, welding stations and compressed air
facilities, and improvements to the existing site
drainage system. Construction was completed
on-schedule in early September 2006.
